Well the good news for all of us who have been eagerly awaiting the release of Beta 2 of Visual Studio 2005 is that the wait is finally over. I noticed that it was available from the MSDN Subscriber download site around 11am (Australian EST) on Saturday 16th April.

For all you MSDN Subscribers out there, you can now download the following ISO images:

  • Visual Studio 2005 Standard Beta 2 (2.85 Gb)
    • Visual Studio 2005 Team Edition Test Load Agent Beta 2 (144.75 Mb)
      • Visual Studio 2005 Team Foundation Server Beta 2 (273.15 Mb)
        • Visual Studio 2005 Team Suite Beta 2 (3.75 Gb)</UL> I am still waiting for the Team Suite to finish downloading but the first thing I have noticed is the Team Foundation Installation Guide in CHM format on the TFS CD. As expected, we can now install Team Foundation Server on one computer (or virtual machine) unlike the previous release.
